Zone Permitting is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We strive to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards and continually work to improve the user experience for everyone.

Measures to Support Accessibility

Ongoing Audits & Testing
We conduct regular accessibility audits using both automated tools and manual testing (including screen readers and keyboard-only navigation) to identify and remediate issues.
Design & Development Practices
• Semantic HTML for clear structure
• ARIA roles and labels where needed
• Sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements
• Responsive, mobile-friendly layouts
• Keyboard-accessible navigation and forms
• Descriptive alt text for images
Training & Awareness
Our design and development teams receive ongoing training on accessibility best practices and emerging standards.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. Specifically:

Embedded third-party widgets or maps may not expose all ARIA attributes.
Some legacy PDF forms or scanned documents may lack text equivalents.

We are actively working with vendors and our internal team to update or replace non-conforming elements.
